A tool for the training school

  • Structured group sessions, several players rotating through the same situations.
  • Measurable progress for the club's young players and competitors.
  • The same training support for every session, from beginner to advanced.

For coaches

Build a session, not a queue

In a training slot, time spent resetting balls is time nobody is playing. Sniper resets the ball in about 2.5 seconds and reaches 24 balls per minute: the session becomes a run of repetitions instead of a run of waits.

  • One situation, one objective, one count

You choose the situation, the player replays it identically. What repeats can be measured, and what is measured can be corrected on the spot.

  • The same support for every slot

Beginners, juniors, competitors: one machine serves all three, with the same reproducible setting from one week to the next.

  • You correct instead of collecting

Your attention stays on aim, stroke and routine, not on putting the equipment back in place.

  • A session that counts itself

Set the session by ball count or by minutes. The machine keeps the count, and its statistics over 30 days, 24 months or the year show what the player actually worked on.

  • Two machines, a whole situation

Several Snipers can work together: one sets the cue ball, the other the object ball. The player no longer replays a ball, but the full situation, identically.

A sample session, in three situations

Each page below details the situation, the setting and what to watch for.

  2. 2 Long shots in blackball
  3. 3 Playing under pressure in blackball

For federations and leagues

One technical reference across every affiliated club

The hard part of federal coaching is not writing the drills, it is getting them executed the same way from one club to the next. A situation set by a machine is set identically everywhere.

  • Situations that reproduce from club to club

The same setting produces the same drill, whatever the club, the coach or the table.

  • Comparable markers between structures

When the drill is identical, the result becomes comparable. Tracking a coaching programme stops being a matter of self-reporting.

  • Designed and made in France, 2-year warranty

A single point of contact for support and parts, with no intermediary abroad.

  • The machine speaks the club's language

Screen language and time zone are set on each machine. The same drill is therefore set the same way across all your clubs, whatever the country.

Who is behind the machine

Sniper is designed, built and supported by Crubs Engineering, in Rennes, France. Arnaud Lecrubier designed it and is your single point of contact: when you write to support, he is the one who answers, who diagnoses and who supplies the parts. No larger manufacturer can offer you that.

Rental is France-only

We rent Sniper in France only, for logistical reasons: assistance, parts and return shipping are included in the monthly price, and that is not something we can hold to outside the country. Outside France the machine is sold, with the same warranty and the same support, and a demonstration by video call before you decide.

Frequently asked questions

Is Sniper sold at the same price for a club?
Yes, the price is the same as for an individual player: €1,500 incl. tax, shipping charged separately by zone. There is no premium and no published volume discount for organisations, and the 2-year warranty applies exactly as it does for an individual, which matters for a machine used by many members. If your club is considering several machines, for several tables or several sessions, say so in your enquiry: that case is discussed directly with the manufacturer rather than through an automatic scale.
Do you offer rental?
Yes, in France, and not only for clubs: associations, businesses and individuals can rent too. Three durations are available, billed at the start of the period: 1 month at 80 EUR per month, 6 months at 60 EUR per month, 12 months at 50 EUR per month. A €500 deposit per machine applies, returned within 30 days once the machine is back and checked, plus outbound shipping at cost. Rental covers support, diagnosis, parts, labour and travel under normal use, and the end-of-contract return is arranged and paid by us. The machine ships without balls, which are an option. You enquire through the form, then the contract is sent to you.
Is rental available outside France?
No, rental is limited to France. Outside France only purchase is offered, at the same €1,500 incl. tax with shipping charged by zone. This limit comes from the logistics and the follow-up a rented machine needs: it remains our property and has to be collectable and serviceable. If you are outside France, a video demonstration is still possible before you decide, and the 2-year warranty and email support apply normally to a purchase.
Is Sniper suitable for a training school with several levels?
Yes, and it is one of the settings where it makes most sense. Training situations are chosen according to the difficulty you want: a beginner works on open balls and a steady stroke, an experienced player runs long pots, thin cuts or pressure situations. The same equipment therefore serves every session, so there is no need to switch setup between groups. For a coaching school the real benefit is volume: several players take turns on the same situation and each accumulates useful repetitions, where a conventional session is largely spent resetting balls.
